H&P Manufacturing 3D Printed Suppressors
Debuted at SHOT Show 2018
At SHOT Show 2018 we unveiled our innovative suppressor designs. We utilize a relatively new manufacturing technology most commonly known as 3D Printing. The correct term is "Additive Manufacturing" (AM) but the terms are largely interchangeable. As you may guess, additive is basically the opposite of traditional subtractive machining techniques. In typical machining operations, a portion of material is removed from a larger piece of stock material (subtracted) to leave the desired shape. "Additive" typically begins with lots of tiny bits of feedstock material that is "assembled" into a solid larger structure. The ability to form a structure layer by layer gives a distinct advantage over traditional methods when fabricating very complex structure with very complex internal workings.
